During this year's European Health and Fitness Forum (EHFF) on April 12th, in Cologne, Germany, Oleksandra Boliak, UkraineActive’s Secretary General, gave an inspiring presentation on the successful organisation of last year’s #BEACTIVE DAY in Ukraine and about their ambitions about this year's edition.
The 2022 #BEACTIVE DAY, a European wide campaign coordinated by EuropeActive and implemented by its national association partners, proved to be an incredible success in Ukraine. A total of 378 events were organised across the country, involving an impressive 13,960 participants. The campaign not only aimed to encourage people to engage in more physical activity, but also served as an effective tool to support Ukrainians citizens to deal with the mental stress created by the ongoing Russian military invasion.
For the 2023 edition of the #BEACTIVE DAY, EuropeActive and Ukraine Active are calling on the European fitness and physical activity sector to support Ukraine Active in expanding the the #BEACTIVE DAY campaign and bring the benefits of physical activity to as many Ukranians as possible. You can support the #BEACTIVE DAY in Ukraine and can contribute via the WhyDonate platform.
