Employment and Social Developments in Europe 2017

On the 17 July the Commission has realised the seventh edition of the Annual Employment and Social Developments in Europe (ESDE). It presents a detailed analysis of key employment and social issues and concerns for the European Union and its Member States as they pursue the EU 2020 employment and social goals. This year's edition focuses on the topic of "Intergenerational fairness and solidarity in Europe”.
With an annual growth rate of 4.4%, the fitness sector is among the fastest growing sectors in Europe. 650,000 employees look after 52 million members creating a total of 26,7 billion Euros in revenues in 2016. As a lead partner of several EU funded actions, EuropeActive is successfully working to promote and protect the interests of the industry at EU level.
