The 30th Anniversary of the Erasmus+ Programme

On the 13th June, Europe has celebrated the 30th Anniversar of its most popular and successful programme: ERASMUS+. Tajani, President of the European Parliament, Juncker, President of the European Commission and Navracsics, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport have hosted the celebrations in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Erasmus has helped more than nine million people to study, work, or volunteer abroad since 1987, representing a milestone for the EU.

EuropeActive is currently running 2 Erasmus+ projects (SIQAF and FAIR), and will continue to work on the development and promotion of the fitness sector through this programme.  Since its establishment, EuropeActive has run a relevant number of projects covering a wide range of topics such as anti-doping, active ageing, professional qualifications, health enhancing physical activity, physical activity for children, and supported around 28.000 people to be more active, more often!
