On Thursday 7th May, the Norwegian Football Federation organised the third partner meeting of the Anti-Doping in Football Erasmus Plus Project. The meeting was also attended by representative of the UEFA anti-doping and project departments.
The kick-off meeting of EuropeActive’s Fitness on the Move new project took place on 3 January with all 4 EU partners and on 16 April with our international partner from India. Due to Covid-19 and restrictions for traveling, project meetings took place virtually using a digital platform. This new project is managed by DG EAC of the European Commission and it is one of 10 Preparatory Action & Pilot Projects in the field of mobility.

On Tuesday 28th January, EuropeActive's kicked-off FAIR+ first project meeting in Brussels. After successfully concluding the Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport Project (FAIR), which produced an extensive Final Report on existing doping prevention interventions and for food and food supplements across the EU 28, the FAIR+ project will keep the focus on doping in recreational sport with 3 main objectives:
The kick-off meeting of EuropeActive’s National Fitness Day for Europe project took place on the 14-15 January in Brussels. Participants arrived from different corners of Europe as this project will develop with EU and Non-EU countries collaboration.
EuropeActive recently released its Forum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport (FAIR) project Final Report, which contains the outcomes of three-year research by project partners on two main topics: the review of existing doping prevention interventions and the current practices to reduce the risk of inadvertent doping from sport food and supplements.
On Wednesday January 22nd, all Let’s #BEACTIVE project partners came together to discuss the results of the 2019 trials and to prepare the final trials in 2020. The preliminary research results are showing that inactive adults who have completed the 6-week structured exercise intervention not only significantly increased their activity levels, but also their quality of life, especially in terms of sleeping better and pain reduction.
EuropeActive recently unveiled two new videos regarding its European Health & Fitness Forum (EHFF) and the 3rdForum for Anti-Doping in Recreational Sport (FAIR project). The EHFF clip revealed the main theme for the 2020 event, whereas the FAIR Forum video summarized the success of the 3rd Forum as the most relevant occasion for European Recreational Sport and doping stakeholders as well as European and National policy makers to share ideas and good practices
EuropeActive attended Cedefop’s 8th Brussels seminar to learn more about the ‘CrowdLearn Study Skills formation and skill matching in online platform work’ on 10 December. Key results indicated that crowed workers prefer bite-sized online courses and micro learning and tend to see little value in professional training and development.
